This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines how you can cancel or seek a refund for event hosting services that you have purchased through our Platform (bashnest.com).

1. Cancellations by You:

    • Cancellations will only be considered if the request is made within 24hrs of placing the order/booking.
    • However, cancellation requests may not be entertained if the event arrangements have been communicated to our vendors/service providers, and they have initiated the process of organizing the event. This includes, but is not limited to, situations where venue bookings have been made, catering services have been confirmed, or other event-related preparations are underway.
    • Bashnest does not accept cancellation requests for services that are highly in nature or involve significant upfront, non-recoverable costs (e.g., specific performance bookings, customized event materials). However, a refund/adjustment may be considered if the user establishes that the service delivered was significantly different from what was agreed upon.

2. Non-Performance or Significant Deviation from Agreement:

    • In case of receipt of services that are significantly damaged, defective, or not performed as agreed, please report to our customer service team. The request would be entertained once our vendors/service providers have checked and determined the extent of the issue. This should be reported within within 24hrs of the scheduled event date.
    • In case you feel that the service received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within within 24hrs of receiving the service (i.e., the event date). The customer service team, after looking into your complaint, will take an appropriate decision.

3. Third-Party Services:

    • For complaints regarding the services that come with a warranty from the manufacturers or third-party providers (e.g., equipment rentals), please refer the issue to them directly.

4. Refunds:

    • In case of any refunds approved by Bashnest. It will be credited within 7 Days to the original source of Payment method.

5. Bashnest’s Right to Cancel/Reschedule:

Bashnest reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:

    • Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government regulations).
    • Venue unavailability or issues.
    • Vendor non-performance (despite reasonable efforts by Bashnest).
    • Any other reason beyond Bashnest’s reasonable control.

In such cases, Bashnest will:

    • Make reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible.
    • Offer you the option to reschedule the event to an alternative date (subject to availability).
    • If rescheduling is not possible or acceptable to you, provide a refund of the amount paid for the event.

6. Amendments to this Policy:

Bashnest reserves the right to modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website (bashnest.com). It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically for updates.
